They tried to charge greg $15 just to use their floor pump when he got a flat on the RTC ride. Wtf is that about?

Dear Rabbi, what got you riding bikes? Fixed gears? Racing?

i've ridden bmx since right before hs. i was working in shops since i was 14/15 and going down to the Lodge/Balcony Lights since i was 16. i met kids on fixed gears and thought they were cool, so got my first fixed gear when i was 18. road that for a few years and wanted to start pushing myself more, so did all the big roadie rides. started working at NuVision and Danny got me to try track racing with a few other friends. it was super fun going fast, but i was still in nowhere good enough shape to be competitive. so i started "training" and got faster. i eventually got a road bike because i wanted to go faster for longer. that was just over 2 years ago. i got the road bike with the intention of racing it.

I'm not too privy to cx bikes, but I think the giant tcx is pretty sweet.

Jose, Nathan is just biased towards giants. Check out Felt cx, Raleigh cx (if you're willing to drop some big bucks, you won't be disappointed),

I would look into surley or a motobecane phantom cross uno for single speed. Why you want a cross bike? There is no cross in vegas.

It would have been nice to get Jose on a big boy bike and have him race with us this season.

Would need to learn to ride in a group / road fitness. But he is obviously a superior alley cat race, does that translate well? Also, no more jews on nuvision.

Being an alleycat racer doesn't really translate well, and he would especially need to learn how to ride fast in a large group (cornering, floating, etc.). And hahahahahaha.

Would be a Straight line there and back kinda thing. No stop lights, no check points. Just to see who is truly the "FASTEST".
