Post significant rides, or any ride you take at all.
60 miles, first time I've been legitimately back on the road bike for 4 weeks. Rode to Goodsprings with nick, austin, erik, and the rest of the team. Headwind both ways, seemed like uphill both ways too. I hate this ride.

Today I Rode 130 miles. 7 hours via the Nipton loop. Didn't bonk, ate a lot, drank a lot, got some good offseason miles in. Feels good, man.

Oh, and today while on potosi, I did the last 3/4mi on a rear flat. It sucked. I also had to stop because I unzipped and forgot my armwarmers and windbreaker were tucked under my jerz. They fell to the ground and I was lucky to not to destroy my jacket, as it decided to go into my chain.

I don't know my mileage specifically, but rode from Boulder highway and Equestrian to North Las Vegas Blvd. and Cheyenne.

Not sure off the top of my head. Probably around 18mph. Lots of sustained-climbing and chill descents. I did set a couple PRs on Potosi, the loop climb, and the loop descent, though.

+1 I've done that route before, nice ride if you're going from NLV to Equestrian.

I'm not getting into Strava. I heard Danny talking about it when he was on the phone with the Sky coach (what was his name again Austin?) and it sounds like I don't need it. I don't need it for the same reasons I don't need the Starbucks hammer rides in the off season.

Cause you don't care to log your miles? You lost me bro.

I guess what they were talking about was that it encourages guys to push hard when they're supposed to be doing easy miles in the off season. Like when they try to get the "KOM's" or whatever they're called. I'm sure its a great app for logging miles though.

I don't play with that kom shit. Its only use is for cat 6 heroes to wag their dicks around. I only use it for tracking my training. Alot of the guys with the most koms could race a bike out of a paper bag.

I have a KOM in sohi. Haha. And actually, ya'll should be doing intervals and working on your ftp over offseason.

Danny has me doing some interval work at the end of long rides, but I'm not too worried about ftp this part of the off season.

I've only been on strava for less than a week. Never chased a KOM and was definitely surprised when I saw I got it, as I've gone faster on that segment in the past.
