That crack didnt happen because of your power dude. You know that.
And I agree with Austin, you cannot tell the difference in stiffness less your pushing like 1700 watts.
I only push 1178.

I think cracking a sole is different than cracking a crank arm. You walk on bike shoe soles. That's probably the reason they would crack. Nathan, you didn't break the sole via power, I think it was just normal wear & tear. Cracking a crank arm is just through PURE POWER or a crash.

What I'm saying is that carbon is stronger than the plastic. It cracked around one of the holes. And I really can tell the difference between my plastic-soled serfas mtb shoes and my crabon gaernes, especially when out of the saddle climbing. The sole doesn't deflect as much on the crabon. Maybe it's because I weigh more and put more force/weight on the pedals?
And nick, that power test isn't gonna give you an accurate power number compared to on the road. I think you got at least a 1300 in your legs.

Austin I don't understand why you aren't better at climbing. You're thin and tall enough to be amazing at it. Climbing's just gay though huh?

I'm asking for a smorgasboard of winter riding clothes for christmas. Those gloves are in there. Sooo nice. Ryan let me use them on a UC ride and I was sold. By the way, is there any difference in the smartwool and regular version? It's only like 2 dollars more and I've heard great things about wool

the smartwool brand gloves are essentially liners. defeet does make wool versions of the duraglove, though. wool is great, however, once christmas comes, those gloves aren't gonna be warm enough. i would recommend getting some actual winter gloves.
