Get me into winter riding without being miserable.
I need arm warmers, leg or knee warmers, jacket/windbreaker, and gloves (although i'm already pretty set on getting Defeet wool gloves). Suggestions? Preferrably nothing that is going to break the bank, either.

Like I said, the defeet gloves will work... till a point. Below 45deg my hands will start to get uncomfortably cold. Danny's main steeze is hincapie, so I would get as follows: •tour lt jacket/vest* •short sleeve merino base layer •arenberg arm warmers* •arenberg knee or leg warmers (whatever suits your fancy) •merino crew cut socks •neoprene/thermal toe covers •arenberg shoe covers (put over defeet on reeeeeally cold days) •and gloves. you just gotta find something that works for you. I liked the giro gloves I had and hated the pearl izumi. I have a 20% off coupon to rapha, so I'm gonna splurge on their winter gloves.
*You're in the same boat as me. The new fluid jerz is gonna breathe far to much for winter riding (like the nv jerz does) and still leaves you cold. We're getting some ls jerz made to wear till it starts warming up. If possible, try to get danny to get a ls jerz on the next order. I would rather have a vest + ls jerz over jacket + ss jerz +arm warmers in the pocket. There are point in any ride with a climb where you're gonna overheat and taking a vest off and storing it is a lot easier than taking a jacket off, storing it, and putting on arm warmers. And with that, your summer-weight jerz is gonna be soaked with sweat and make you cold as shit (however cold shit actually gets).
Hope this helps.

Yeah I find that everyone I ride around overheats sometime during the ride and either takes their armwarmers/vest/jacket off, or is miserably hot. I definitely want a baselayer, arm warmers, and gloves. Those are first order. Hopefully it doesn't get too cold this winter. So far, the lack of wind has made weather extremely rideable, but all that can change. I dunno.
Are arenberg arm warmers the ones that have the fleece on the insides? Because those are niiice.

Yeah, those are the ones. The lack of cold/wind has got me scared of the coming months.

Spent money on Deda Newton stem and Deda Zero 100 RHM handlebars. I dig them, but I need to splurge on lizard skins.
