it's actually a pretty common thing! single speed while clipped in, that is. brian actually plays fixed clipped in.

Loads of people do. I am switching to single speed and want the extra tie in for bunny hops which are key to backing up while playing polo on a ss.

you're playing polo while clipped in? you sir are a brave man. Not really, 30% of the pros are clipless.

I don't know if "Pros" is the appropriate word, but at least 30% of people are clipless, possibly more and it increases as people are better

nah, i'd say pros. my basis of comparison are the teams that played at worlds. and about 30% of THOSE people used clipless. people i've seen on the footage, anyway.

No, I understand, it is a term I have used before, but I think those people would laugh if they heard you say that.
I'm sure that they would love to go pro, but polo does not have the sponsorships at this point for people to actually live off of what they are making by winning tournaments. I think at this point all polo players are amateurs, not in skill but by definition

got some stuff to try and stay warm this winter. WILL IT WORK?! already have some winter gloves, but after 15 minutes my hands overheat, hope these won't do the same. also plan on using these for running this winter. is a vest or jacket necessary if i wear a baselayer under the jersey? i am poor/do not want to spend money if i just end up shedding layers mid-ride.

No. Base layer is normally ok.

unless youre riding at night or morning, baselayer under jersey + arm and knee warmers and gloves should be fine
