nice try though.
it's obvious he's just frustrated from having to avoid cyclists that run stop signs.
i know that if a cyclist blew a stop sign going perpendicular to me and tried to beat me when i have no stop sign, i'd speed up just to tag him.
idiot cyclists deserve to get hit.
and me and apparently tosh wouldn't mind if we were the ones to do the hitting.

you have to look at the bigger picture.
it's not about hitting people with cars.
it's about people getting what they deserve.
if an idiot is gonna keep running stop signs and forcing people to slam on their brakes,
then something has to be done in order for him to learn his lesson.
ideally, it should be handled by law enforcement. but if it happens to be a collision, then so be it.
think of it this way. if an aggressive driver does nothing but cuts people off with no signal, blasts through stop signs, and speeds through school zones and residential areas without any consequences or fear of consequences , then he'll continue to drive in that manner. it isn't until something negative happens to him that he'll stop.
and craig, it may be serious business, but some people deserve it.
if you blow a stop sign or a red light with full awareness of incoming traffic, you know what you're getting into.
also, i would have voted hitler and jeffrey dahmer to get hit by a car.

but it is total nonsense to be sticking up for morons (though fellow cyclists) that choose to ignore traffic laws.
i think of alleycats when we talk about breaking traffic laws.
alleycats are controversial, yes.
but we sign papers because we're aware and responsible for whatever we get into.
if an alleycat racer gets hit, they'll be upset sure, but they'll understand why they got it. they tried to run a red light with incoming traffic coming perpendicular
if an idiot cyclist gets hit, they'll argue their ass off about how they had the right of way because they have "road priority" over all car because they're on a bike.

I've seen what can become of a serious bike crash, whether it be via car or just crashing at high speed. Once you see someone almost die, nothing like that matters.
When I was new into riding bikes with my dad's converted Bianchi and red Weinmann dp18 sw8 fixie kid wheelset, I ran red lights and rode somewhat recklessly. But I learned, and now I don't pull that shit. I was an "idiot cyclist", so I deserved to get hit? I wouldn't be here today to realize my wrongs and to pass the knowledge that I've learned unto other immature riders. And don't even try to find some shred of semblance in a reckless cyclist and Adolf Hitler. There's a difference between actively trying to exterminate an entire race of people and being a little too impatient to wait at a light. Some disconnect there.

I'm all for blowing through stop signs and red lights, I do that shit on the daily, but I'm also not stupid about it. If I know I'm not gonna make the light I'll stop. I'm not saying "idiot cyclists" deserve to get hit on the sole purpose of running lights, but if you're too stupid to realize you're not going to make it through the intersection and end up getting hit, then you clearly got what you deserve. Cyclists know the risks they take by running lights, and getting hit is the price you pay for not being smart about...

Yeah Ghabe, I was being sarcastic, but I was being sarcastic trying to make a point which obviously didn't work. This is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard you say. A cyclist being hit by a vehicle stands a good chance of being permanently injured or killed. The fact that you would ever wish that on someone or worse yet say that they deserve it and that you would "speed up just to tag him" is absolutely terrible. You admitted to running a red light during an alley cat, so if some car intentionally tagged you leaving you a paraplegic are you saying that you deserved it? You made a stupid illegal decision, but I for one think you deserve a traffic ticket, not a wheelchair. if a driver accidentally hits a cyclist who runs a red light then you may have a distasteful but somewhat valid argument, but to advocate speeding up to intentionally hit a very vulnerable road user is just terrible.
