No posts on this site in a month + wow.
Besides the dietary stuff and all those vitamin supplements people take, what are some good alternative meals that would go perfect with long bike rides? Anyone have any favorites?

Lol...anyway, has their been any effort or someone stepping up to the plate and going the city officials and convincing them to build a velodrome in Vegas?...Some stuff I was thinking about this morning...If anyone is down I'd be more than glad to help..

Lol...anyway, has their been any effort or someone stepping up to the plate and going the city officials and convincing them to build a velodrome in Vegas?...Some stuff I was thinking about this morning...If anyone is down I'd be more than glad to help.. Same problem we've always had and we probably always will have. There isn't enough interest in Track Racing for the money to magically appear and turn into a velodrome. Nobody cares enough about Cycling here to put forth the millions of dollars needed to build a half decent velodrome, the people that do care just drive to LA. The cycling community is growing, and rapidly, but it's not a mainstream thing just yet. On top of that I'd be surprised if a velodrome could break even at the end of the fiscal year. In this city the only thing that matters is money, if there's no money in it then it's not going to happen, no matter how much the people want it. Maybe in 15 years when Las Vegas culture is further developed and we're a more refined community we can start building things normal cities have. Like fancy museums, real art exhibits, and a zoo that doesn't crush your soul when you drive past it.

I agree with Mark. But I don't even think the cycling community is that great here. Not many scheduled rides occur, no big events to draw people in, and not a lot of respect or communication.

Haven't rode the bike in a while, but I'm hoping to get more miles in on Sundays. Fixed gear centuries, lulz.

I like the new upgrade on things, but the icon picture for those who don't have one is dumb.

I bought a Spinergy wheel for $5.00. The spokes are a bit chewed up and it's hard finding replacements along with the nipples. Old Stock problems.

Who wants to lend me a crank puller, cog and lock ring tool and a chain breaker in about two weeks or help me swap out parts when they arrive?

I'm surprised this whole thing isn't shut down. None of the staff members ever get on, either.

its probably because most of the fixed gear single speed riders ive seen in vegas are kids with no respect for bikes or rules including traffic lights or laws.
bunch of little shits.

Usually they are on the Facebook page, which is lame. Always selling and never discussing. Sometimes I see people ride, but no organized rides. At least in Henderson.
