They do when you're trying to look euro.
But for real, the shoes are awesome, the sole distributor in the states is local, and did I mention the shoes are awesome?

As you should. It's ridiculous.
Also, it looks like the jackass used Rhino, which is a bullshit 3d CAD software for mac.

Every time I'm on PedalRoom I get more and more frustrated.
Almost everyone is about custom, pursuit, Leaders, Histograms, Cervelo T1, etc. Buying expensive frames for "leisure" riding is lame.

It matters to me, because why would you spend that much on a bike that you might not ride that often? Or why spend so much money on something if it's not being used to its full potential.
It's like getting a Disney pass that lasts all year, but you don't have the time to go there.

Its a total shame to see a great specimen languish in a garage when its just screaming to get the shit ridden out of it. My neighbor ,a well off middle aged gent, has a Trek Madone 7 Series just sitting in his garage collecting dust. I've seen him ride it for like 20 total when he brought it home.... sad shit.

I'm still feeling really sore and my headache is sticking it to me. I got hit by the 7/11 on Horizon and Boulder. I was on my way home from work.

police report and all that? I would say hit the doc but they will just look at you and bill you if its a minor concussion. If it doesn't go away soon go to the doc. How bad is the bike?

Hope you are alright. Concussions are awful. Get it checked out, if the symptoms persist? Make sure your brain isn't bleeding to death.
I was hit last October. Emergency room, ambulance ride, concussion, stitches, etc. Aetna still doesn't feel like paying for my 800$ ambulance ride. It is an outrage. I was unconscious(?) for about 5 hours, threw up a few times that night, had a headache for about a week straight, slept 10-12 hrs a day for several days afterwards. Was not enjoyable.

Also, being dead is probably preferable to dealing with health insurance companies and hospital bills.
Even with health insurance you are completely fucked, I can't imagine dealing with any accident situation like that without any.

Go ride NYC as a messenger or pedicaber for a few seasons. You eventually feel the hit coming like a disturbance in the force.

Did all of the routine stuff. I have a copy of the police report, went to make sure there were no broken bones, been icing my ankle, etc.
I'd rather be dead than having to deal with almost anything.
Toxsidious, I never want to be a bike messenger in super metropolis places. A good fraction of motorists do not have respect for cyclists and vice-versa. I hope I never have to deal with such traffic that I have to weave in between massive hummers or impatient cab drivers, just to get by.

Not too bade on the frame. Top tube dent, fork dent. Crank set is fucked along with the chain ring. Front rim is fucked. Handle bar wrap torn. Not too sure about the rear wheel...

I guess we are going to get an estimate of how much it is through REI. I'm going to guess that it could be just as much money as I've put into the bike? Because I'm thinking that they are going to price everything as if it were brand new.
