Yeah deep vs need like a 48mm or longer, we don't have those in stock, but may still have some shorter ones

We'll be there, and we were there last first Friday behind the toilets.
It would be cool if you didn't plan a race on first Friday, we get that spot for free, it's a dick move to not show up just for some race and then never get a free spot on first Fridays again...

We wanted to let everyone know that there has been a change to our shop hours. Due to popular demand we have cancelled Wednesday hours and will be adding night hours. We were previously open Monday through Wednesday from 10 to 4, most people were asking for night hours as they worked during the day. We will update our new hours once we have worked out the logistics.
Also, if you would like to volunteer to man the shop please let us know.
Until we add more night hours our hours will be:
Monday and Tuesday: 10am to 4pm
Thursday: 6:30pm to 9:30pm
Saturday: 12:30pm to 3:30pm (unless there is an event)

First, a new volunteer has joined the co op team. Zach recently moved here from California where he was a part of several bike shops. He has agreed to take over hours on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our new hours are therefore as follows:
M: 10 am - 4 pm
T: 10 am - 4 pm, 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
W: 10 am - 4 pm
TH: 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Sa: 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Second, some of you showed up for our ride to the Royal Pool a while back, everyone seemed to have a great time so we are doing it again. Mark your calenders for Sunday June 24th for some bike riding and pool party fun. Stay tuned for more details.

List of upcoming events: Bike Polo Several members of the co-op play bike polo every Wednesday and Sunday at 8 pm at Desert Breeze Park. Critical Mass Critical mass is the last Friday of this month that is this Friday (June 29th), we meet at the unlv student union at 7pm and the ride leaves at 8 pm. First Friday/Gold Sprints/Slow Race First Friday will be on July 6th. Look forward to seeing us down there again this First Friday at the corner of California and Casino Center. Find us listed under Public Pedal on the First Friday map www.firstfridaylasvegas.com/event-map.htm . We will be holding gold sprint races and will have bike valet. In addition, we will be holding a slow race. The "race" will start at 9 p.m. near our spot at First Friday $5 entry fee Winner gets a light fixture made by the bike ninja. Slow race is about 20 feet The last cyclist to cross the finish line wins. Any two wheeled bicycle allowed. No external support of any kind. kick stand foot on the ground hand on any surface beside handle bars Training wheels etc... No moving backwards. No contact with other competitors. Second Saturday/Bike Swap Second Saturday is on July 14th. We will open the shop at 5 p.m. for a bike swap/component exchange and will be open all night for Second Saturday. Royal Pool Party Some of you attended this on Sunday, it was a ton of fun. There will be a ride a ride starting at the co op and ending at the Royal Hotel pool. This is going to happen for the rest of the summer on the last Sunday of the Month. For July that will be July 29th. There will be DJs, bike valet, and awesome fun times hanging out at the pool with other cyclists so make sure to check it out. We will be heading out on a ride from the shop. Meet at the shop at noon, ride at 1 p.m. EVENTS IN THE WORKS Gold Sprint Races at a Bar Stay tuned for more details on this, but we are thinking of having gold sprint races at a bar downtown once a month. Premium Rush Premium Rush is premiering on August 24, 2012. We are planning a ride from the shop to the theater then watching the movie together. Three Foot Ride We are planning a ride to raise awareness for the new three foot law, stay tuned for details. Poker Run We are planning a poker run, this is not a race, whether you are first or last makes no difference on your chances. The way it works will be as follows: 5 stops, go as slow or as fast as you want, you'll miss the fun if you rush forward instead of hanging with the group and talking to people and having fun, $5 entry fee, you get a playing card at each stop, the person with the best poker hand at the 5th stop wins half the prize money, the rest goes to the co-op. You do not need to be a fast rider or know poker to play. Come out, have fun, maybe win some money. More details to come. |

Our hours have changed to the following:
Monday: 10 am to 4 pm
