dave and craig don't like it. so it doesn't work. dave, it would work. it wouldn't be a waste of money, because it would work. things you don't like, believe it or not, STILL work. it just means you don't like them. i don't see what the big deal is anyway, lawyer chris is just trying to find a way to save some money. but i get where you guys are coming from though. and sorry for trying to voice up. i've really no experience as a professional mechanic, and lawyer chris isn't really in charge of saving us money. we'll stick to our shit from now on. "workstations usually secure the bike enough to apply a lager amount of torch from wrenching" It is not saving us money if we are experimenting with stand construction. I never said I didn't like the stand, I am sure if we went on a date it would pay and hold doors for me. As for Chris I recognize he is the only one being proactive by submitting options.

believe it or not, it's all going real well. the room in emergency arts had been painted/fixed up and looks a lot better than what brad had going. also, the fundraiser on saturday looks to be an actual success!
sorry for not explaining what it is yet checko, but others in the co op would be better at explaining.

Thanks to everyone for the support tonight. Two things:
1. The co-op officially opens on Tuesday, volunteers are needed to man it. Please post your availability and preferred number of hours worked. Ideally we will have some one there each day from the late morning to early evening. But remember, if it's after 7 p.m. You need to be 21.
2. Memberships are officially on sale. What does a membership get you? Discounts on events, discounts on any items we eventually sale (kits are being talked about, just sayin'), first dibs on parts bin, and of course access to tools and the shop where experienced mechanics such as Craig, Bryan, and Ryan will help you work on your bike and teach you how to work on your bike. I know what your thinking, this is worth at least $300 per month, but, not the case. Membership is only $5 per month, and a deal of $50 per year if paid up front. But wait, there's more, IF YOU PURCHASE A YEAR MEMBERSHIP BEFORE SATURDAY NOV. 5TH YOU WILL BE A FOUNDING MEMBER, and that is an extra $10 off. I know how much you butches like deals, this means you get a year membership for only $40, which is $20 less than if you paid by the month. Best yet, you get all of the Mamet benefits plus a sweet founders club party where you will get to rub elbows with Vegas elites such as Krystal. Not only that, but most importantly, you get founders club bragging rights. Just saying, these are the kinds of things that go in an awesome obituary when you die.

Does that one Schwinn still need to be refurbished? I may be able to come in for a few hours this week.

That would be cool if you want to go up to work on it. Just remember that you have to be out of the building by 7 so it does not give you a lot of time. I will let you know regarding the key situation by today through private message.
