Hey guys, why don't we all get together and ride the Red Rock Loop? Saturday, May 7th @9am? we can meet at the Starbucks on Town Center and Charleston.A helmet and at least a front brake is highly recommended. If you don't have proper foot retention (or a front brake without proper foot retention), I'll ask that you do not participate for the safety of the group. Also, at least one bottle of water. I wouldn't bring a bag, if possible. Since Red Rock is a national park, it costs $3 to ride. You can also buy a pass for $30 that is good for a year and gets in 3 others with you. Come on out and challenge yourself. The ride is hard, there's no doubting that. There's over 1600' of climbing in 13.5mi, and 1500' of it is in the first 4.5mi. The route is roughly 27mi. |
