Any thoughts on why BMC isnt riding the Impec this year?

True that on us all being too old. Craig could get there too, even with the 2 year jump on Austin. Probably just need to get the hell out of here to do it, though.
And BMC prob figures the team will break way fewer team machines (or pro machines...whatever one's the higher tier) than impecs and it will cost them a lot less money. Same reason not everyone on Garmin was riding a R5CA or S5 last year.

If i remember correctly last year they put cadel on one but then he changed back to the team machine because he didnt like the bike. i have a feeling this is the verdict. Also I see what your saying with the r5ca but the whole tour team was on the s5 and now that it is in full production the whole team rides that bike. The r5ca is obviously a boutique super bike but the impec is not at that level. It being $7999 with red. The r5ca is $10,000 for just the frame.

So who's fucking excited for tdf, giro, and vuelta this year? Is Tyler Farrar going to finally beat Cavendish and stop crying all the time? (no) But I would like to see Cavendish get repeatedly beaten so I can watch the pain in Nick's eyes. Is Renshaw going to kick some ass? I hope so. Is Cavendish's sprint just not the same without Renshaw leading him out? Will Cadel take tdf again? Fuck the haters. He earned it, even though he likes to cry. We all like to cry.
Discuss.

Cadel is a beeotch. Renshaw blows. Cav don't need him to win. (Worlds?)

dude fuck cadel and tyler farrar and mark renshaw. they all suck. if anyone is going to beat cav its greipel now that he has a gnarly lead out train. we will have to wait to see skys new lead out for cav.

Renshaw was looking pretty good at TDU. I'm also interested to see the Sky leadout, but the GB leadout had little to do with Cav taking worlds and a lot to do with Renshaw not being chosen for the world's squad. It's pretty universally accepted that if Renshaw would have been there to lead out Matt Goss, Goss would have taken it. Renshaw not being there is more of a politcal move by Australia/GreenEdge that pissed a lot of people off.

Is it accepted that Renshaw is never going to win a sprint race, against cav, or against anyone in general for that matter? Is he just an eternal lead out man? That's what it seems like. It seems like time and time again he gets the short end of the stick.
austin, i'm pretty sure you're joking, although andre greipel is the shit and i would definitely love to see him win against cav. But if sky can put together half of what HTC did for Cav in the earlier years, i'm quite certain they'll push cav to victory.
And what about pettachi? is he even racing this year? Seemed like he made some noise last year.

He was 3rd behind Griepel and Renshaw in 2 stages of TDU. Renshaw just needs to teach Michael Matthews to lead him out.

I'm mistaken. Stage1- 1Greipel
- 2 Petacchi
- 9 Renshaw
Stage3- 1Greipel
- 4 Renshaw
- 79 Petacchi
Stage6- 1 Greipel
- 2 Renshaw
- 3 Petacchi
Classic- 1 Greipel
- 10 Petacchi
- 109 Renshaw
