Does anyone here work on their car or do any sort of their own car maintenance or just want to complain about how much work their car currently needs? Feel free to post any project you might be working on.
I own a 2002 Dodge Durango and I've been trying to diagnose a check engine light that came back as a misfire in cylinder 2. I've been trying to dwindle down the possible causes. So far, I've changed the spark plugs, checked the coil for proper resistance, and even removed my passenger side valve cover to see if I had dropped a rocker arm (a common problem with my type engine), and they've all checked out. Now I need to check the fuel injector.
HOPEFULLY that is the problem, because if it isn't, it's going to be a problem with the valves, which gets very fucking complicated.

Your Durango doesn't have an OBD port? Autozone will run the code for free if you do. Beats the fuck outta guess and check.
I hit a curb one foggy night in dang 'ol motor city.. It snapped my lower control arm and damaged some other suspension components as well as fucked up the quarter panel and tires.. It's been in the collision repair shop for 3 gawdamm weeks now. I seriously think they're just joy riding it and dicking with my subs.. Thank your god for bikes.

Durango has a built-in OBD code reader. Just have to turn key to ON position and back off again 3 times and it will read your codes to you. Came back with cylinder 2 misfire code, which is very ambiguous. So I'm hoping to jesus it's the fuel injector. If not, I don't give a fuck, I'm just gonna rip out the valves and change them.
That sucks ballsack. What were you driving?

Maybe it's the piston rings. Maybe your not getting enough (or any) compression in that cylinder.
An '06 VW GTI. She's mah baby. I miss her so. I just got some urethane engine mount bushings to install that will smooth out the shifting for me.. BUT I DON'T HAVE THE CAR. Jesus.

I don't know. Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be a bitch to find out and a bitch to fix.
Didn't you drive a bug or something?
