im moving from la to lv soon and i love riding, and i love the big nice community in LA, hows the community in LV? are they 420 and beer friendly? and DONT steal? and maybe some other things that can bring to my attention? thanks.

also is there bike polo? how is the community on that? and what about shops in lv that specialize in fixed gear and are chillin? also hows the weather to ride there? and maybe whats similar to LA to riders that would ride here also?

Bike polo, every Wednesday (including tonight) and Sunday from 8pm to 11pm at desert breeze park. Most fg friendly shop is prob procyclery on charleston and...cimnaron I think. Need more ladies. critical mass this Friday, meet at unlv student union ride at 8. Ride to royal pool this Sunday, meet at noon ride at one, meet at Fremont bike clinic in emergency arts on corner of Fremont and 6th

Not yet, the bike clinic is attempting to start a messenger service, but we are a ways out at this point. Downtown around the Fremont area

A velodrome is in the works, not sure if I can say more at this point, it's not being spearheaded by the FBC

hm that sounds interestingly nice, ill probably have to learn my way around vegas tho if i were to try messengering, also when i get to vegas im probably gonna need a first riding bud just so i can get help around a new place you know what i mean? so if anyone wants, im available lol

Although, I am not really familiar with the West side of Vegas.
That or just go to some of the rides posted in the other threads.
