VoS last weekend. Shitty tt due to a tubular flat. Finished in the main pack in the RR. Crashed out of the last turn in the crit.

Not really a race update, but kind of is. Rode with Danny today and scoped out the course that the Harmony Homes guys want to make the course of tnw. It is UN.ACC.EP.TAB.LE. Completely unprotected from wind, crazy uphill, way-too-fast and long downhill which is full of neighborhood outlets. In one lap, two cars almost didn't see Danny and I when they were leaving their neighborhoods. Imagine what that kind of slow-go-slow-go shit would do to a race full of freds, and racers from cat 1-5. It really offers no benefits compared to the course at the Lakes. Don't know why guys always have to go changing things that don't need changing.

Because every year it gets closer to being shut down. I think the only viable alternative is really Tuscany. But nobody wants to go all the way out there.

Le fuck Tuscany. Last year there were very few if any problems with regular tnw course. We never even got any heat from the po-lice and it went well into late August early September

id be down to do tuscany every once in a while. its a fun course. but i do like the regular one too. as long as its not out at the god damn M

track etiquette is taken super seriously. its easier explained in person haha. theyll chop your fucking nuts off if you do something stupid. but thats why theres almost never crashes

I feel like this is true at adt. At encino they get blazed in the pit and race keirin after slamming 40s

i did the roseena ranch circuit race or whatever today and it was awesome. 3.5 mile course, 6 laps with a good mile long hill. last year i wouldve gotten dropped on a hill like that but i felt great and was up front on the last up hill and elliot grothe from leeeeroyy cycling team attacked and i followed then he blew up and i was alone out front and ALMOST FUCKING WON but then i died with like 50m to go and what was left of the field passed me. bleh. redlands nrc crit tomorrow.
