I thought there should be a market place review. Posts of opinion/experiences, ranting or raving about bike websites, shops and products, offering pros and cons.

Great idea! This seems like the perfect place to let everyone know about my bike rack. I have the Saris bones 801 3 bike mount. Fully satisfied with it. I would estimate I haul 100-120 lbs of bikes on it (one them being a full size tandem). Constructed out of heavy-duty light weight plastic(=doesn't scratch you bike) Easy clips and life-time warranty. Fits a wide variety of vehicles, stores nicely however it is a little time consuming getting attached. Attachments:

I got my bike from www.jensonusa.com. It was a $720 bike anywhere in town, on sale for $600 free shipping no tax. Customer service was excellent.

Fukka $1000 used steel frame. Add another $200 and you can get a custom frameset. Also, fukka custom steel track frameset unless you're racing on it. Get a steel road bike that can fit 32s and ride it fucking everywhere.

Last time I went to REI I was unimpressed with the tool selection. I was wondering if anyone in town had a little more to offer.

Last time I went to REI I was unimpressed with the tool selection. I was wondering if anyone in town had a little more to offer. Apparently McGheis, ProCyclery, and Sport Chalet sell Park Tools, not that I would need that nice, but maybe I'll check them out. I don't remember McGheis having that much of a selection but maybe I was looking in the wrong place.

what exactly are you looking for? park may the most expensive, but cheap bike tools are that: cheap.
