You could use plastic for spacers. Those are plenty strong.

maybe list what you are looking for in terms of material of frame, geometry, price range, etc. This might help in terms of suggestions from the more learned riders on the board

Didnt see an intro thread so decided to post on this one. Anyways I'm Joel, I ride a bright yellow '72 schwinn converted road bike and pretty new to the scene. I live borderline to the eastside and north town, Eastern/Washington area so if u see me riding don't be afraid to say wassup.

Not Forgotten by Sheila Packa
I learned to ride the two wheel bicycle with my father. He oiled the chain clothes-pinned playing cards to the spokes, put on the basket to carry my lunch. By his side, I learned balance and took on speed centered behind the wide handlebars, my hands on the white grips my feet pedaling. One moment he was holding me up and the next moment although I didn't know it he had let go. When I wobbled, suddenly afraid, he yelled keep going— keep going! Beneath the trees in the driveway the distance increasing between us I eventually rode until he was out of sight. I counted on him.
That he could hold me was a given that he could release me was a gift.

Im thinking about slowly building a new bike, I ran across a frame that ive been obsessing about... It's a Leader 725TR and the price isn't bad at all! Anyone have any info on this frame? Any input would be taken into consideration. Citygrounds carries it in 58cm & 61cm, for those who I've met recently what size do you think is appropriate for me?

if he's naive enough to suggest a leader, he's naive enough to not know why he shouldn't.
give 'em some reasons, nathan!
