I wrote this a long while ago when I was in some strange mood.
Dear, Deer.
Oregon is quite a place to go if you live in the desert. It is overcast (cloudy, dark, not so bright). It’s a great place to wear flannels, hoodies, and windbreakers and when you’re in a forest setting, it’s even better. The smell of pine trees and the sight of sap coming from the trees as if they were bleeding; it’s so invigorating.
Wandering through this place I have discovered a small paved road. Where it was leading, did not really catch my interest, but what did concern me was a deer.
The deer was laying on the shoulder of the road. I was not sure if it was alive, dead, or seriously injured. I slowly walked towards it, not to frighten it and have it try to make some escape. As I got closer, I notice that the deer was still alive. It was breathing very heavily. Step by step, moving in on the deer, it had glanced at me and I saw its eyes widen as if it was in fear of its life.
The legs of the deer seemed to be broken and when it tried to flee, its legs would just flail around. I can hear the grinding of the bones and cartilage underneath its flesh.
I can imagine the pain the deer was going through.
Seeing it in such agony and suffering I can feel my throat swelling up, as if I were getting ready to start crying and sobbing. I ended up doing so, because I knew the deer was dying a slow and painful death. I knew I had to make this very quick.
I got close enough to grasp the antlers of the dear and have control of the head. As much as I am against causing harm to living things or being brutal, I had to do something to pause or stop the pain. My vision got blurry, because of my tears. I blinked to allow them to fall and carry on.
Holding very tightly to the antlers, I apologized to the creature.
With a immediate jerk of the deer’s head I broke the neck and the deer moved no more. The overwhelming feeling of how things can go from some genuine to something very saddening is very catastrophical on a psycological level.

This was really cool, but on a safety note, no one ever get this close to a live deer. They have been known to suddenly jerk and antlers in your stomach while alone in the wilderness is not a good thing.

Damn, proboards won't let us get juicy. When will we move to Vanilla??

Yeah I don't know about that. ProBoards is really nice and customizable unlike vanilla. Much more freedom with javascript coding here, and with that freedom, we have a board that is even more simple and user friendly than vanilla (at least in my opinion). Plus it's free and the support service is THE best. It's all up to nikki anyway.
