Cyclocross in Henderson

Hey all just stopped by to promote a new cyclocross / grass racing series in Henderson. Things kick off June 2 and there will be events on the following 1st and 3rd Thursday nights. July will 1st and 3rd Friday nights, August will be 1st and 3rd Sunday mornings. All events will be in Henderson area parks, flood basins, etc. and are open to anyone, any bike, and are free of charge.

Spectators / hecklers welcome so come ride, race, cheer, or just check things out. Hope to see some of you guys/ gals out there.

Top 3 finishers prize list. 
 
First race will be at o'callaghan park  Thursday JUNE 2nd @ 8:30 P.M.

2nd race will be at mission park        Thursday JUNE 16th @ 8:30 P.M.

Races will be 40 minutes long. All skill levels and bike types welcome.

No categories/ no classifications. Show and GO!

No problem guys, the time has come for cross in Vegas we just need to make it happen.

I have been thinking about Exploration Peak Park as well even though it is'nt technically in Henderson it might work out well. Mostly we are trying to use locations that are "out of the way" and not that crowded during event times since we are an underground/ unsanctioned operation and don't want to piss anyone off or make any waves. When / if the time comes where things are so large that low impact events aren't possible then we will have to change things up a bit.

The idea is to get things rolling in a small way and as interest and participants ramp up we are hoping to continue on with a second series October - January so come on out and show your support!
