Hey, I'm the guy everyone saw at the end with the recumbent.
Seemed predominantly fixed, but I didn't give a rats ass.
I rolled up to UNLV as everyone was rolling out and was catching up to the tail-end when a rida wearing a WuTang shirt took a spill in some sprinkler run-off.
I think she shook it off and called it a night.
Anywho, this was the first time I did a group Vegas ride since July 2007 when I first met up with the Midnight Ridazz and the LVCM then when they put on "Ghostride the Strip II".
A little smaller than I expected, but myself and the three other dudes that hauled ass up the Strip was an exhilarating revival in and of itself.
The pizza on Fremont was killer too.
I'm doing this more often, if my times actually coincide correctly more often.

I'm the guy with the black Specialized Langster who's crank broke 5 minutes into the ride... I've never been so upset with any of my bikes before... A tear almost came out of my eye... Lol...

I guess while I was riding the crank came undone somehow... Raycecar you were the one who stood behind to check up on me right... If so I just have to say thanks... Even though we couldn't fix it on the spot you were the only one who stopped...

y'all are asking for it riding the strip in such a large group. 5-10 is fine, but anything over it is begging to get fucked with by cops. they cracked down on us in 2008 (?) and they'll do it again.

I didn't even know anyone took a spill at all.. ohh yea, that was me  i was trying to avoid some guy on a golf cart & the sprinklers were on too.. i turned wrong & my bike slipped on the water. banged my head but i'm good now. thanks to the two guys that stopped to make sure i was okay i did go home after cuz my head was hurting pretty bad. |

After hearing of five friends who were involved in that drunk-driving collision in Culver City last week, I'm a bit on edge with any slip and falls. rabbiHey, you're that dude I recorded trying to BMX tricks back in '07. I think I last saw you at a West LA CRANK Mob way back in March of '08. Nice to be finally jamming around this hot-tarmac of a city again after so long!! |
