ok, fuck it. i'm gonna do everything i can to make this a productive critical mass. whatever means necessary, i'll be a dick all night if ii have to. that being: moar riding. less recklessness. and NO DRINKING (till the end, anyway). i don't get it. people are always on other people's dicks about drinking and driving, but drinking and RIDING is ok? the hell? also, kids that break out weed during a stop? do that shit before you show up to the ride, or don't ride at all. is your "addiction" to marijuana really so bad that you HAVE to smoke it every 9-18 minutes? oh wait, no. you just have to prove to everyone that you're COOL and you can ride and be high at the same time. COOL GUYS. if any kid brings any problem like this, or any problem at all to critical mass, i'll will drill through them, and have their ear-tongues feast on my insult-pops. i can't stop them from riding with us, but i can make them feel unwanted on the ride. that being said, hope i'll see a lot of you on friday. like crabbi told me and i completely agree with, critical mass stops being fun once you take an administrative role. last critical mass i had to yell the entire time at people in the front to slow down or else we would of been stretched out a mile. it wasn't fun. people also need to realize WE CAN'T RIDE THE STRIP IN SUCH A BIG GROUP. mashing down the strip is for AFTER mass and typically in small groups. going down lvb with that big of a group is ridiculous and asking for cops to bother us.

It is an extremely bad idea to have the mass go down or up the strip. I suggest streets cars rarely drive on.

The purpose of CM is for us to promote bike safety. Riding on the strip is a good way of doing that. NOT riding on streets that cars aren't on...

Most of the people in mass cannot ride along with traffic so well. For example: the last C.M. I went to that involved a party afterward had a number of people with different types of bikes. Many could not keep up or would get flats often.

The purpose of CM is for us to promote bike safety. Riding on the strip is a good way of doing that. NOT riding on streets that cars aren't on... so this means you were able to get the parade permits that allow a huge group of cyclists to ride on such a busy street at LVB?!?! YES. WE'RE RIDING ON THE STRIP TONIGHT, EVERYONE. CAUSE RAYCECAR SAID IT WAS A GOOD IDEA.

1. Riding down the strip is also a great way to piss off drivers (especially cabbies), get hit, and get ticketed. 2. Bicycle safety? You kids don't have brakes and you're talking about safety? Why should others care about your safety when you don't? 3. You can't even ride together as a group on roads that have no real traffic because everyone thinks they're a hotshot.

But really raycecar, like 20 people got ticketed a few years ago after riding on lvb. not a place for big groups of cyclists. 1. Riding down the strip is also a great way to piss off drivers (especially cabbies), get hit, and get ticketed. 2. Bicycle safety? You kids don't have brakes and you're talking about safety?
