I was going to suggest putting on both (for the hand positions for climbing!) but I see you had to go through the trouble of taking off the tape.

Yea it was quite the pain, I noticed u were using the smaller levers used on flat bars. Are those alot easier to install/remove?

you can get some that have a clamp with a hinge so that you dont have to slide them on, Then you just clamp them on and don't have to remove tape first

Thanks! The pedals are shimano 105's.
And I wish I was racing, but the seasons started and I missed all the beginner clinics, because of my job. Hopefully I can start up later this summer or next season though.
I hate the way my stem looks too, but "it's all about performance", right?

Thanks man. I misplaced a spacer in the hectic rush of unpacking it teh bicycle. Some how it tightend but felt a bit sketchy lol, Problem fixed now
