ball and inner thigh protection. I can see having them on polo or trick bikes, but on a bike with drops and a zipp wheel is just silly.

actually, they're to protect the frame when locking up.

I just looked it up, I think its both, as well as a few other things such as protection from drops hitting the top tube. we're all right, yay. looks less silly now knowing that.

actually, they're to protect the frame when locking up. shouldn't the pad be on the downtube then? because you're supposed to lock your front wheel to your frame together on the rack?

Whenever i lock up, the only part of my frame touching what i'm locking up to is the tt. Plus, I lock up my rear wheel and the frame. As far as i'm concerned, the wheel that drives the bike is the most important, and should be locked in such a manner. Altogether though, fuck that bike.

Always lock the rear wheel. Fukka front wheel. They are like 20 bucks. I always lock rear and seat tube. Also who the fuck locks up a bike with an 808?

Nah man, this guy is riding crazy track fit on the street That's not even a legal track fit. Bars aren't allowed to below the tire. Anyone with that much post showing in gonna have a +20degree stem on a bike with that little of ht length. Total jackass fit.
