Those rims, although sweet, are a lil' overkill ATMO. why are carbon tubulars overkill for cross?

That is a polo bike, thus the disc covers on the first set of pictures and the spoke card with HCBP on the second (Hard Court Bike Polo).
Its a pretty nice polo bike

I really dig her polo set up, but I meant that comment for the last picture. I think it'd be fun to have a trick bike.
@rem: She's seems like a very pretty cool chick!

I don't know anything about trick bikes but would they be using that low of a ratio, a freewheel, or a dual brake, I saw it and immediately thought polo without the disc covers or spoke card.

a guy named chris hamersly came to polo a couple days ago. he was on a business tour working the [adult swim] carnival tour. he showed up on this. upon further investigation, it turns out to be this. modified by the geniuses at Geekhouse, the couplers on the top and down tube detach in order to make it easier to travel. wonderful!

yeah, i used to think so. i'm trying to remember how brian explained it to me.... he said something about the discs kinda auto straightening themselves out if they're slightly bent. but other than that, yeah, disk brakes are an expensive, more luxurious alternative. but they're a necessity if you live in an area that rains a lot (portland, seattle, vancouver, the rest of the cascadia region.) but we've seen some innovative guards for disk brakes.

Yeah like Ghabe said, you see them a lot from players in rainy areas, yes they play in the rain, cause they don't give no fucks, you also see hydraulics.
The old trend was the Paul duplex lever which is what I'm rocking, the new trend is front disc only, no rear brake.
Im not completely behind because I'm trying to play more defensive forward, which a duplex lever is appropriate for, front only is a forward most commonly, and goal is kind of whatever you can do the best on, but I definitely see the advantage of a fixed in goal
