ok ill let you know, first i have to find a road bike, and i have no idea, the track bike that i ride is 54cm, maybe its the same as a road bike? i am not sure on that one.

I did the 120 distance two years ago fixed with no brakes, and will ride it the same this year. Since this isn't a race i figured the only way to make it challenging is to ride it fixed. Almost anybody can leisurely cruise through 100 miles on a road bike especially with how this ride is supported. Furthermore I also don't want to be that roadie guy with his carbon and gel packs racing during a friendly ride.... so unfashionable. And before I get reminded, Id like to acknowledge that the RR loop and parts of Lake Mead are not to be underestimated. See you guys there.

one thing i like to do to make a ride more challenging on a road bike is to just go faster.
