This is an idea a few of us have been throwing around for a while. I believe this used to happen back in the day. ANYWAY! Lets set up a Bi-Weekly or even monthly sprint series.The races could be anywhere from 250m to 800m? Standing start. My idea would be to do this street racing style. i.e. Head to head winner takes all sprints. Bet what you will... i.e. cash, bikes, parts, meth. After a couple of weeks we could set up a Sprints champ type thing where we race in rounds to crown a vegas fixie sprints champion...........
What do you guys think? Who would be down for some friendly competition?
All ideas welcome.

Nick, we can use the old spot. It's probably still the best spot for it.
Idk if we wanted to just do head to head sprints, essentially calling someone out or do a double-elimination pyramid. We can try a diff format out each time. I'm gonna call out 3rd Friday of the month @830pm/race@9.
How much $$ for a buy-in? $2-5?

I figure if we just do a call out type thing we can decide who we want to race and what its worth. For example if I want to race Craig I would do it for like 50 bucks. You for like 6. lol Pyramid buy in would be like 5 I think. Also lets do it later cause I work till 10!!

Also I was thinking possibly the loading docks off of landing strip. It super well lit and no traffic.

i say a 5 dollar buy in - lets make this interesting. honestly downtown isn't the best place for a pack of kids to be hanging out and racing. too many people and too many cops. the west side holds LOTS of deserted-esque streets and areas.

Well you couldnt come around me on saturday till I stopped for the cattle gaurd. And everyone on the team saw that I have a better pop then you. So ya...... I'm pretty confident I can out sprint you.

Who is down for sprints next Friday?
I think rabbi has a pretty good idea of where the race should be (around the world market center).
Let's all agree on a 5 dollar buy in. Pyramid style. This first time, the seeding will be names drawn from a hat. I think a huge ass whiteboard would be perfect for bracketing and such.
